2nd General Assembly of TRANSCEND (Crete)
All partners gathered in Heraklion for the annual project meeting, a crucial moment to take stock of the progress made and plan the next steps for the remaining two years.
During the first day of the assembly, the partners took part in a field trip meeting the local stakeholders and visiting some relevant spots in the Tympaki river basin: the Lake Zaros, the Faneromenis reservoir, and the Tympaki Land reclamation board.
The following two days, the partners analysed and commonly addressed criticalities concerning the main topics of the project.
Thanks to this meeting, the Consortium was able to improve its work on the following key project aspects: modeling and monitoring, stakeholder engagement, communication of uncertainty in data, models and scenarios, pathways to transformational adaptation and scenathon design for the local workshops.
The second local workshop of the Tympaki river basin (Crete) took place right before the 2° general assembly, with a wide participation of local stakeholders and project partners.
