WEBINAR – ADVANCING INVESTMENT IN WATER RESILIENCE
On 5 September 2025, TRANSCEND will host a webinar to highlight the role of finance towards adaptation to water scarcity.
The event will host a presentation speech by Magdalena Rzeczkowska, Vice President for European Affairs at the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs (FPP), on finance for sustainable water management. Magdalena Rzeczkowska will share insights on identifying financial risks and opportunities, and on how dialogue with stakeholders can help mobilize capital for climate-resilient water solutions.
The presentation, “ADVANCING INVESTMENT IN WATER RESILIENCE: A Strategic Pathway Towards a Water-Smart Society and Economy”, will be a key moment to frame how financial mechanisms can support nature-based, just, and sustainable transitions in water systems — a theme at the heart of TRANSCEND’s mission.

Magdalena Rzeczkowska is the coordinator of the Water and Finance Expert Group at Water Europe, which aims to explore innovative financing models, promote investment in water-related projects, and foster collaboration between financial institutions, policymakers and water stakeholders. Its work supports the development of strategies to close financing gaps, encourage sustainable practices, and inform EU policy and regulation on sustainable finance.
