On July 12-16, TRANSCEND was at the 13th International Congress on Environmental Modeling and Softwering at the University College of Dublin. We presented our methodology through the workshop “Scenathons for Transformational Adaptation to Water Scarcity: Co-developing Hydro-economic Modelling Suites with Stakeholders”.
Scenathons are the serious games we are proposing as a decision-making support tool for our stakeholders, and are widely described here.
During the workshop in Dublin, participants explored the process of coupling hydrological, microeconomic, and macroeconomic models, addressing uncertainty, as a way of building trust with stakeholders through participatory modelling.
Sharing our methodology and lessons learned to a wide public of scientist was a great opportuinity to build new connections and ensure the future replication of TRANSCEND methdology to other river basins.
